GBP/USD capped 1.5380

FXstreet.com (London) - GBP/USD is ranging tightly between 1.5332 and 1.5371 the high while the pair is now drifting lower in European markets.

GBP/USD has performed over 2 big figures to the upside since Friday close, Monday open and has been capped 1.5380. Today we will see a little US data in the afternoon, starting out wit the Trade Balance (Jun) expected -$43.10B. Then we will see Redbook Index (YoY) and (MoM) (Jul 28). In the meantime, markets will be watching out for UK Industrial and Manufacturing production numbers.

GBP/USD levels

GBP/USD’s 20 d ma is 1.5225, the 50 d ma is 1.5312 and 200 d ma is 1.5546. RSI (9) reads 57.91. The supports are ascending from 1.5243, 1.5254, 1.5281 and 1.5310. Spot is currently 1.5330 while resistances are coming in as 1.5416, 1.5435, 1.5442 and 1.5480.
