Canada: Retail sales drop in June

Canadian retail sales fell 0.1% in June to a seasonally adjusted CAD 44.14 billion , Statistics Canada said Friday. Expectations were for a 0.5% increase.

The drop in retail sales comes after a downwardly revised flat reading in May (+0.2% previously estimated).
