China's Xi Jinping speech to be focus during Boao Forum

China's President, Xi Jinping, will be headlining the Moao Forum on Tuesday, the Asiatics' version of Davos, and special attention is expected to be given to Xi's words as tensions continue to ramp up between the US and China.

Xi will be expected to give some key, choice words on trade while speaking at the Boao Forum, and many traders will be seeing it as China's opportunity to respond to the previous week's tariff exacerbation from the US last week, when Trump announced the possibility of even more tariffs against China. Many market participants will also be hoping the Xi takes the opportunity to cool the aggressive rhetoric that has been the hallmark of the US-China stand-off as of late, and a lack of a level-headed response from China's President could send market sentiment into another tail spin.
