EUR futures: neutral/bullish near term

In view of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added nearly 12.5K contracts on Monday from Friday’s 565,940 contracts, recording the third build in a row. Volume, instead, dropped for the fourth consecutive session, this time by around 106K contracts.

EUR/USD appears consolidative near term

EUR/USD has been trading within a consolidative fashion as of late amidst the persistent build in open interest and the continuation of the down trend in volume. That said, further rangebound around the 1.17 area seems likely, at least in the short term horizon.
