DUP wants more assurances from May on backstop alternatives
According to ITV political correspondent, Paul Brand, the DUP not committing itself to Brady amendment just yet and wants ‘more assurances’ from PM, particularly around what the alternatives to her backstop would actually be.
The same was inferred from the DUP's Brexit spokesman - Sammy Wilson's comments, saying that the DUP’s approach to parliament votes will be judged based on the PM Theresa May’s statement on Tuesday.
